Exchange rates are crucial for calculating common monetary values using the base currency, especially for accounts denominated in different currencies. Note that calculations may differ from bank-level precision and financial statements.
Supported APIs
At the moment, YAFFA supports the following data sources for the retrieval of currency exchange rates.
Frankfurter
- No User Account or API Key Required
- Frankfurter supports 31 currencies (List of supported currencies).
Crypto-currencies
Note that, currently, YAFFA does not support crypto-currencies as dedicated concepts. However, it is feasible to add and use them as custom currencies, as long as the decimal precision of YAFFA is sufficient for this use case.
